Israel鈥檚 north has long played a major role in the development of Jewish history and theology. Additionally, it has spots that are revered by Druze and Baha鈥檌s. On this tour, we will first explore some of the sites connected with the Jewish history of the area. We will then visit a Druze holy site and use that as a springboard to discuss this lesser-known minority group who make up a small but significant percentage of Israel鈥檚 population (many of whom serve in the IDF with distinction). The Bahai Gardens in Akko and Haifa, regarded as the first and second holiest places in the world, respectively, by the Bahai religion, will be our final stops.
